About the coins used in this design

The large coin resembles "AR tetradrachm" - A silver coin among the ancient Greeks, of the value of four drachms. It features Alexander the Great on the one side and a lion hunt scene on the other side. Anatolian coins often feature a lion motif. Lion is symbolic of the supreme power. Alexander the Great is often associated with lion.

The small coin is AV aureus -the standard gold coin of the Roman empire, worth 25 denarii. This coin features Emperor Caesar Albinus Augustus on the one side and Nike (winged goddess of victory; identified with Roman Victoria) standing on the other side, holding a wreath and wheat symbolizing victory and wisdom.
